Here are some examples of projects completed.

Research and Procurement Projects:
Cash use and displacement, e & m Request for Proposal management
eftpos Payments Australia Limited, Australia

We have completed a range of assignments including undertaking market research (eftpos Member banks and retailers, Reserve Bank of Australia, Australian Payments Clearing Association (APCA) and other relevant market participants) into future use of cash, cash displacement strategies and approaches for greater adoption of eftpos domestic debit card use in the face of significant growth of international (contactless) card scheme transactions.

We also undertook market research into Australia’s e-commerce and m-commerce competitive landscape and as one of three key pillars of eftpos’ Transformation Program, led and managed all aspects of a complex Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking specialist technology providers to design, develop and operate national payments infrastructure enabling the secure use of eftpos debit cards for internet and mobile commerce in Australia.

Working with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts, developed and published a comprehensive RFP document and supporting structured evaluation matrices. Provided written reports and presentations to eftpos Executive and independent Board of Directors on the RFP progress, deselection of respondents and eventual selection of a preferred supplier.

Market Research:
Retail Payment Innovation Global Industry Radar (GIR)
eftpos Payments Australia Limited, Australia / Interac, Canada / Paymark, New Zealand

Working with three of the world’s most forward thinking domestic debit card scheme, as part of the Internal Consulting Group’s publications pillar, we curated and edited a period market scan of global innovations in retail payments. The publication (see below for a sample copy) was used as a catalyst for client confidential Executive Level round tables discussing the most important trends and developments, a springboard for mutual collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Payments Strategy & Market Research:
Whole Of government payments architecture / ICG Certified Case Study on Service NSW
Service NSW, New South Wales Government, Australia

Enaged by Service NSW, the award-winning Australian State Government initiative to deliver “one-stop’’ access to Government Services, as part of a larger Internal Consulting Group team, we supported the development of a payments strategy to implement a single whole of government payments architecture to simplify retail payments acceptance across the business and ensure the recovery of credit and debit card transaction service charges.

Subsequently, as part of our research capabilities we produced  a research case study on the set up and development of
Service New South Wales.

Service NSW has established a network of Service Centres across the state, a single 24×7 phone service and a consolidated digital presence to provide comprehensive omni-channel access to government and delivers more than 800 transactions – including driver licences, birth certificates, Seniors Cards and Fair Trading licences through one digital service, one phone number and a network of one-stop shops.
